The ILR Notification System is a free service through ILR Search that helps users stay informed about recording activity across all 99 counites in Iowa. After requesting an account to log into ILR Search, you can create a notification profile for the name(s) and counties you want to monitor. If a newly recorded document matches your criteria, you'll receive an email.

SIGN IN & CREATE YOUR NOTIFICATION PROFILE
Log into ILR Search and select "Create Notifications" located in the navigation bar in blue on the left. Then create a notification for the names and counties you want to monitor.
CHECK EMAIL & LOGIN TO REVIEW RECORDS
When a newly recorded document matches the criteria in your notification profile, you will receive an email alert. Review recorded documents by logging into ILR Search.
Iowa recorders collaborate statewide through Iowa Land Records. This system enables us to pool resources for services including a statewide database, a statewide e-recording platform, and now a statewide notification system. This service reflects what county recorders do best: working locally, collaborating statewide, and finding practical ways to better serve Iowans.
HOW IT WILL WORK
Once available, ILR Search users can access the ILR Notification System through a free Iowa Land Records Search account. Once signed in, users can create a notification profile, choose the names and counties they want to monitor, and receive an email when a newly recorded document matches their entered profile criteria.
There is no charge to create an ILR Search account, search for records, view documents, or access the new ILR Notification System.
